2018 Scotty Cameron Select Putters

What Is New?

Sight, sound, and soul are the main focus for this year's model of Scotty Cameron Select putters. There is up to 30% more vibration dampening material which fuses the mid milled face inlay to the putter body for increased feed back and responsiveness. The other big change to the putting line is known as 4 way sole balancing. This means that the putter's sole milling and draft angles have been changed to account for the weight of the shaft and grip. The neck position and offset and is done by the re distribution of the sole's balance point from heel to toe and face to cavity so the putter sits squarely with perfect alignment at address.

Select Newport 

There has been subtle tweaks made to help the Select Newport’s visual and technical characteristics. These additions should should give any golfer more confidence over every putt. The three-tiered contours from the topline down the shoulders to the ground cascade effortlessly with nothing for the eye to get caught on. The topline radius has been smoothed to display a player-preferred look from address. Adjustments to the plumbing neck angle provide an uninterrupted view of the face from heel to toe. 

Select Newport 2 

Slight changes were made to the iconic Newport 2. The top line radius was refined giving it a slightly thinner appearance from address. The plumbing neck dimensions, edges and angles were adjusted for a cleaner, squared-up look from address giving an uninterrupted view of the face from heel to toe. Updated graphics extend the Select line’s iconic three red dot theme to the face and sole for a clean, race-inspired look.

Select Newport 2.5 

With its curvy flare neck to accentuate toe flow, the Newport 2.5 presents the player with the crisp, alignment-friendly lines of the Newport 2 head style from address with a neck that provides ¾ shaft offset and visual cues more in tune with the “feel” player’s preference. The Newport 2.5 gives a great visual setup as well as solid sound and feedback.

Select Newport 3

Scotty’s Newport 3 is the putter for the feel player. The heel-shafted design of this teardrop shaped smaller mid-mallet promotes an arced putting stroke. Flange milling has been precision smoothed for more sculpted contours with an improved vibration dampening system that contains up to 30% more material fusing the aircraft aluminum inlay to the stainless steel head. A left-handed Newport 3 option joins the 2018 Select line.

Select Laguna

Scotty introduces a modernized version of the Laguna from the sole up in 2018. This classic shape has all the modern technology such a mid-milled stainless steel face inlay, four way balanced sole milling and an improved dampening system.  With this release it proves that the sculpted flange and mini slant setup is just as popular today as the day it was introduced.

Select Fastback

The last 2 models are inspired by Scotty Cameron's love for cars.This updated Fastback has a single milled flange line for a cleaner, Tour-preferred look at address. There is also a vibration dampening material connecting the 6061 aircraft grade aluminum face-sole component to the stainless steel putter head for better sound and feel. The Fastback is a single bend shaft mid-mallet that looks good and performs when you need it to.

Select Squareback

The Scotty Cameron Select Squareback is a Tour-inspired milled sight line in favor of the pop-through alignment.  A weight-saving single bend shaft gives visual access from address to this angular mid-mallet model with mechanical lines, making alignment easier than ever.
