The G440 K, PING's straightest and highest-MOI adjustable driver to date, is designed for golfers seeking maximum speed and forgiveness across the face.
The G440 K's exceptional speed, stability, and forgiveness dynamics are the byproduct of its Dual Carbonfly Wrap and Free-Hosel technologies. These innovative design elements create crucial weight savings in the sole, crown, and hosel regions, allowing PING's engineers to optimally redistribute weight to the head's perimeter, including the back weight, which is 4 grams heavier than the G430 MAX 10K (PING's previous highest MOI driver). Consequently, the G440 K boasts a lower and deeper center of gravity than its predecessor, resulting in faster ball speed and more MOI and forgiveness. As an added benefit, Free-Hosel technology also increases flexion in the heel section of the face, helping retain ball speed on mishits struck toward the heel.
PING invested serious time into the G440 K's sound and feel as well, developing a composite crown bridge and sole ribs to dampen vibrations and ensure a muted yet powerful impact experience.
